Pre-K4B had a very colorful week as we explored colors. We played color BINGO and loved our color song. We also played color freeze dance and matched different objects in our classroom to the correct color. We shared our favorite colors during Morning Meeting by coloring in a crayon.
We began to work on our pencil grip. We squeezed and molded play dough with our hands to work our muscles out. We then reviewed our “Pencil Rules” and how we hold our pencils and crayons. We created our own pencil friend that we colored and put eyes on to help us too!
Pre-K also began decorating their family houses for our family wall. We shared our family pictures and shared something special we love to do with our families.
We learned all about our classroom stuffed animal, “Smart Cookie.” We read the book she wrote and explained all our rules to bring her home to visit. We even colored in our own cookies!
We also talked about how to be kind at school. Thank you Jefferson for the wonderful books about school that helped us show how we can be kind.
Thank you to everyone who worked on the “Sign of the Cross” everyone did wonderful during prayer time. We are still learning our “God My Father Prayer.” We also made self portraits to show how God made us! Thank you to Benny who shared his Bible story Book with us! We loved listening to Noah and his ark.
