It was such a pleasure meeting everyone during Pre-K Orientation, and a wonderful way to start a year of learning! Thank you for all the donations, it is much appreciated!
This week we began learning the “God, My Father” prayer and how to make the Sign of the Cross. We started to grasp the classroom routines by beginning our day with a Morning Meeting. We read “Click Clack Moo Goes to School” and "The Crayons Went Back to School.” In addition, we explored the classroom centers, and worked on learning all about Pre-K.
We also created some magnificent artwork to decorate the classroom with. Our pencil craft and first day crowns were works of art!
Pre-K4B also began to learn about dinosaurs. We had our dino figures stomp in playdough, and read a book about the different types of dinosaurs. We ended with a dinosaur stomp song we all enjoyed!
Next week, we will begin learning about colors. The colors of the week will be yellow and red. We ask that on Friday, September 15th, you please include one or as many of these colors as you would like in your wardrobe.
A very Happy Birthday to Naomi and Jake who celebrated with us this week!
*A friendly reminder to please label your child’s belongings and to provide a family photo for the classroom Family Wall. Napster/Activity Fees of $65.00 are due.
