It was a wonderful week here in Pre-k 4A! We prayed, learned the Sign of the Cross, read My Day with Jesus and said a prayer after each story. We met many news friends, learned rules and routines, colored, painted, had Circle Time and went on a tour of our room. We played a game on the Smartboard about rules, sang songs and learned a new way to come into our classroom and start our day. We learned bathroom routines and how to wash our hands. We learned how to share and take turns and we are working on how to be kind. We had snack and lunch and we even napped. On Thursday we ate snack on the playground. These are just a few things we did!
We had learning Centers this week and went outside on the playground. We took a picture of all of us on the playground. We had so much fun playing! We painted large apples and they are on display on our blinds. They really brighten up the room! We are having Johnny Appleseed Day on September 25. Please have your child wear red, green or yellow for the color of apples. We will be making applesauce that day and serve it on Friday September 27. If you do not wish your child to have the applesauce, please write me a note or email me. Thank you to all the parents who sent in extra supplies for use in our classroom. The children made good choices the first day of school everyone received a good choice bracelet. We listened so well the rest of the week we had ice pops as a treat on Friday! If you have not filled out the paperwork I sent home on Wednesday, please do and send it back Monday. Also, the Pre-k supply fee is due next week if you have not paid. The fee is $65 if you bought a napster and $40 if you did not buy a napster. Here is one of the prayers from the book: My Day with Jesus- Dear Jesus, Show me how to be caring today. Help me to share what I have with others. Let me hear your words in my heart as I meet others through the day. Amen God Bless, Mrs. McNulty
