Pre-K4B started to trace their names this week. We began tracing them on our SmartBoard and learned the parts of our writing line. We traced our first letter of our name in sand too, and made it out of playdough.
Everyone did wonderfully transitioning into school. It was great to see how proud everyone was to do the morning routine all by themselves.
We explored our new shape square. We learned a robot square song, and made our shapes using kinetic sand. We also found all our squares around our classroom. Our colors this week were blue and green. We sponge painted a beautiful tree and made clouds out of blue playdough.
We learned a new song for our seasons, and celebrated the first day of Fall by coloring leaves, and decorating the classroom with them. Also, we learned all about being a kind friend and did a friendship dance!
Pre-K4B learned all about attending mass. We learned where the alter is, and took a virtual tour of our cathedral. We enjoyed tracing and hearing the church bells. We learned out dance moves to “Jesus Can” too!
Next week, the colors of the week will be brown and purple. You can incorporated them into your wardrobe on Friday, September 30th!
