Pre-K 4B had a blast learning more about Pre-K and classroom routines. We learned all about blue, orange, and black. We traced the color’s names, and found different objects in the classroom with that color.
We had a great time exploring all about apples. We labeled and colored the parts of the apple, and learned how apple trees grow. We also learned about how apple juice is made.
For writing, we worked on how to grip a pencil, and tracing zig zag lines to work on our tracing and fine motor skills. In addition, we rolled out playdough and created shapes to work on our shape recognition.
We are working on learning the classroom routines. We all enjoyed having classroom jobs, and exploring our centers. We did a great job helping one another to clean up! Also, we learning how to make the sign of the cross and say “Grace” before snack and lunch time.
Next week’s colors are green, red, and yellow. Please feel free to include them in your wardrobe on Friday, September 17th to school. Also, we will be making apple sauce on Friday as well. If you could please bring in a donation of apples that would be much appreciated by the class on Friday, September 17th.
A friendly reminder homework will begin next week. Please check your yellow folders for the homework assignments. Please complete the assignments and return them to the folder for submission.
**We would like to wish a very Happy Birthday to Lana who turns 4 on Saturday, September 18th!
God Bless,
Miss Kline & Mrs. Garcia
