Pre-K4B had a blast celebrating Halloween! We all looked forward to seeing one another’s costumes and having our parade around our building. We loved bringing home our dotted pumpkins and had a special pizza lunch. We had a movie day with popcorn too! We also played a game with dice and we rolled to see what animal we would move like.
Our Fifth Grade buddies stopped by for a visit! They colored all different Halloween pictures, and we loved getting to know them!
On Halloween, we had a PJ day! We created pumpkins using pancakes and M&Ms. We dug inside of a pumpkin, and had a bubble dance party! We also tried to make guesses for our Student Council riddles. Everyone looked so comfy in their PJs.
We also celebrated All Saints Day on Friday. We said a special prayer to our saints during the Morning Meeting. We also used tissue paper to create a stained glass window with Saint pictures.
We also had a letter review with writing them in sand and saying their sounds. We also played letter freeze dance when we said the letter name and then froze.
Our Number of the Week was four. We dotted four and used erasers to count out the number four. We also learned about different pairs. We matched pairs on our SmartBoard, and played a game of music concentration.
Thank you to all our Community Helpers for visiting us over the past month!
Pre-K did a great job reciting the prayers we learned. We also on Friday began learning our “Hail Mary” prayer for our new month.
Our Student of the Week was Ryan! His favorite color is orange and his favorite food is pizza and broccoli.
