Happy Birthday to Agustina, Dominic and Juliette for the month of October!
Thank you to Juliette for being the Student of the Week. Please take a moment to read about her information. Thank you to Sullivan for taking Polly home this past weekend. Did you know he took Polly to soccer and scored a goal...Yea Sullivan!
Thank you to Agustina's mom for coming in to tell us about being a second grade teacher. Also, thank you to Mackenzie's mom for coming in to tell us about her being a nurse! This completes all of our Community Helpers for the month of October! Thank you again to all the parents that took time out of their day to come to pre-K.
This week we learned about how we are all children of God and how everyone is important. We learned about the letter Pp, the number one and we introduced the number two. We also sang songs for Halloween and read many stories.
Thank you to the parents who sent in their "Thanksgiving tradition" paper. When we get all of them we will start sending the class book home every night.
School pictures are November 2. Information was sent home Tuesday/Wednesday about them.
Show n' tell starts next Wednesday and Thursday. If you have a three day child it will be on Wednesdays and if you have a five day child it will be on Thursdays. Please make sure whatever your child brings in it fits in a sandwich ziploc baggie with your child's name on it. Next week it will be something pertaining to Fall. For example: a leaf, a tiny football etc. We have a small show n' tell bucket that we "feed" and it is not very big so please make sure it is in a ziploc bag. It is usually something that begins with the letter of the week but next week it is different.
Here is just a few reminders for Halloween: No lunch is needed we will provide pizza. If you are taking your child after the parade please provide me with a note so we can pack your child up. After the Pre-k parade we will be returning to school and watching a Halloween movie and then will take a nap.
Just a note that if it rains on Monday we will not be able to have the Halloween parade.
God bless,
Mrs. McNulty
