Pre-K had some wonderful visitors for our Community Helper Month this week. Thank you to the Sharma Family and the Veit Family for their visits. We appreciate it and loved to hear about your amazing careers.
We explored the parts of the pumpkin! We listened to a fun parts of the pumpkin song, and made our own pumpkin with dotters, ripped construction paper, and pipe cleaners. We also saw all different kinds of pumpkins and said what made them the same and different. We even saw what happens to a pumpkin when it rots.
Pre-K learned all about the letter “E.” We loved to explore our writing centers and made the letter out of blocks, playdough and with sand. We also practiced writing the letter on our Smart Board.
Our number this week was two. We put two blocks in our fish ten frame, and found two of the same color objects in our classroom.
In preparation for Halloween, we created spooky and silly monsters from all our different materials we had in the classroom. We also produced a spider web. We made it out of glue and sprinkled sand on it. Then, we dotted spiders using pom poms.
Our “Student of the Week” is Rocco. We learned Rocco loves art at school and his favorite color is blue.
Franics visited Cresidla over the weekend. Cresidla visited the park with Francis and enjoyed going to church. Thank you for taking such wonderful care of him.
A very Happy Birthday to Maya D!
