OCTOBER SKILLS/SPORT:
Students have been learning soccer skills, such as passing, trapping, dribbling, and shooting the ball into the goal.
Once the skills have been taught, students are assessed on these skills.
Please have your child practice the soccer skills. Make sure you have a soccer ball, or a rubber ball so that your child will get more comfortable using the skills taught in Phys Ed class.
Classes will be put on teams to use the soccer skills in the games, and be assessed on their skills and participation.
OCTOBER MONTHLY CHALLENGE:
Planks and Push-ups:
We are having a plank contest to see who can stay in a plank position the longest! Time your child and write your child's name and grade on paper, and send in with your child!
Push-ups:
These are not easy, so have your child practice daily! We are using half cones in class so students realize how low they must go to the floor.
