Pre-K4B had a wonderful time celebrating Thanksgiving in our classroom. We learned a Thanksgiving prayer and read “How to Catch a Turkey.” We created our own turkey traps using legos, playdough, and pipe cleaners.
We had a Charlie Brown Thanksgiving Party! We watched the movie and made our own mix of popcorn, toast cereal, jelly beans, and pretzels. We also colored our own Thanksgiving crowns and pictures of snoopy. Thank you to our Class Moms for the stickers and placeware!
We also reviewed all our prayers we have been working on this year so far. We had a special visit to our chapel to pray for people we are thankful for. We also created a beautiful stained glass window for our “Hail Mary” prayer.
Pre-K4B also had a letter and number review. We played Letter Freeze Dance and made our numbers out of playdough. We also worked on our letter sounds with a new phonic’s song!
We continued to work on our cutting skills as we cut out different lines and shapes.
Thank you to Valentino for bringing Smart Cookie home! Smart Cookie loved her haircut, and seeing the football game!
We wish everyone a happy and healthy Thanksgiving Holiday!
