Pre-K4B wrapped up our Thanksgiving month by learning about the Pilgrims and Native Americans. We colored in our own Mayflower, and watched a video on our Smart Board about the first Thanksgiving. We also worked on our table manners for the big dinner. We celebrated by making rice krispy treats in the shape of hearts for snack.
We loved making “balloon models” using colorful clay after watching how the Macy’s Balloon Artist create their balloons for the Thanksgiving Day Parade.
We learned the God made all things, and said what we are grateful prayer. We also continued to learn our Thanksgiving prayer.
Pre-K also did a number review! We put 5 coins in our piggy bank, and practiced writing our numbers. We also worked on sorting our animal toys by type and color. Also, we practiced writing our names on a writing line, we also made our first letters we learned out of playdough.
Please remember to clean out and check your child’s yellow folder. A letter went home in regards to our December activities.
*Thursday 11/24 and Friday 11/25 the school is closed.*
We hope everyone has a Happy and Healthy Thanksgiving. We are grateful for each and every one of you!
God Bless,
Miss Kline & Mrs. A
