Thank you to Aryanna for taking Tilly home this past weekend. They went to a doctors visit together and went to the mall to check out Christmas decorations. Seryna is our Student of the Wee. Did you know she likes to do homework and wants to be a doctor when she grows up.
This week we learned about the Saints: John the Baptist and Saints Ann and Joachian. Father Christy came in to speak to us and he was very impressed on the six Saints the children already learned about. They were able to tell Father Christy facts about each Saint we learned. Father Christy told us a little about himself being a priest. He invited us to come to a Mass which we will in January. We learned about the letter Mm. We did so well writing on our white boards, making Play-doh letters, reading Mm story about a monkey, singing Mm songs through videos and painting a Muffin for the letter Mm. This week we learned about number 6 by counting, singing number 6 song, practicing writing number 6 by tracing and writing on white boards. We learned about Veteran's Day and the five day children make cards for veterans. Mrs. McNulty will deliver them to the American Legion in her town. We also talked about Thanksgiving and read several Thanksgiving stories. On Monday November 25 we will have our Thanksgiving celebration with Mac and cheese. We will make it in our classroom...how exciting! If you do not wish your child to have it, please let me know. We have been practicing for our Christmas program which is December 16 @ 8:30 am in our classroom. Due to limited space please no siblings and only two people can attend. Our class book was sent home today about Family Traditions. Please write a comment after reading the book and send back the next day your child comes to school. Rosemary lost this stuffed animal. Did anyone accidently take it home? If so please return. Show n' tell next week is anything that begins with letter Oo. God Bless, Mrs. McNulty
