Pre-K 4B explored all about Noah’s Ark this week. We counted our manipulative animals two by two, and worked with our ark and animal during center time. We even created our very own book!

 The letter of the Week was “G.” We read “Three Billy Goats Gruff” and made the letter out of playdough. We used our dotters to count 18 grapes, and created our very own giraffe out of the letter. We also read about “Goldilocks and the 3 Bears.”

The number of the week was 18, and we completed 18 jumps. We also stacked 18 blocks together. We learned about measurement as well. We learned a scale is measured in pounds, and used a ruler measure Francis. We also worked on our fine motor skills by practicing with scissors.

For Let’s Find Out, we discovered all about a Library. We made our own library cards, and how to act in a library. We also shared some of our favorite books to read, and learned how an author creates a story. We leanred about how we can borrow books from the library, and all the different storis they have there.

Our Student of the Week was John. We learned that John enjoys the show Blaze and the number 3. He also loves math and reading at school.                
           
On Monday, March 14^th we will be celebrating Pie Day! We will have a special treat of pancakes with syrup, please let me know if you would not like your child to participate.

Also, we are in the progress of figuring out a program for Saint Joseph’s Day, we will inform you when a decision is planned.
