Thank you to Nihal for taking Everlee the bee home. Did you know he did homework with her and played with his brother Nanak. What fun! This week we learned about the letter Rr. We dotted it, traced it, wrote it, used our white boards, made a Rr in kinetic sand (which was not easy), watched Rr videos to listen to the sound and songs of the letter Rr. We found things that began with the letter Rr too. We made a weather Rr project. We learned about clouds and weather this week and read our Let's Find Out magazines. We did a picture graph too. On Thursday we made cloud pictures with paint and wrote what our cloud looked like.

 We learned about number 16 by counting and finding things on the Smartboard. We wrote on our white boards and used counters to count to 16. We made the number 16 our of table toys.

We learned about Lent with a new song. We received ashes from Deacon Guido on Ash Wednesday. He spoke to us about the meaning of Lent. We began our new Lenten journals where we started to copy a sentence from the board.
We have been practicing for Donuts with Daddy. Please send in your candy for Dad's present and also RSVP.
The Leprechaun has been busy but we have not caught him yet! He brought us, pencils, bracelets, a book- How to Catch a Leprechaun, green glasses stampers, coins and a coin trick! We found out his name is WeeWee! How cute! Let's see what other things happen next week and if we can catch him!
Our Lenten collection begins Monday, March 10 for Life Choices. We will be collecting: baby lotion, Destin, corn starch powder, baby shampoo and baby wash. Please be as generous as you can and of course it is optional.
