Pre-K4B started off the week with learning about the letter “W.” We all shared words the started with that letter, and found things around our classroom that with that letter too. We did an under the water sea game, where we matched the letter to its sound. We also created our own walrus and made own red wagons.
Our number of the week was “15.” We used a dotter to make the number, and did a great job singing out number song. We also counted in Spanish too. We counted our animals to 15, and had a blast doing number freeze dance.
We created out own coffee filter shamrocks, and read books on Saint Patrick’s Day. We loved saying good morning to the Lucky the Leprechaun, and made rainbows by using the back of our paint brushes. We also sponge painted a shamrock design.
We learned about how ice melts. We did an experiment to see what melted the ice cubes the fastest. We made some great guesses, and the hot water and salt melted the ice cube the quickest.
We had a special visit to our gym this week. It was so much fun with our colorful parachute, and playing a tossing game.
We also learned the God is Jesus’ son, and worked on how we grow with God. We also did a great job with our Lenten Calendar.
Thank you to Allyson for bringing home Francis. She got to attend ballet class and watched so many fun movies.
