Welcome our new student A.J. who came on Wednesday. All of the students welcomed him! His birthday is in March as well as Scarletts.

This week we continued to learn more about Lent. We continue to say our Lent prayer and sing our Lent song. The children are excited about their Lenten Star Chart and are telling me how many stars they have colored! We learned about how God wants us to make good choices. This is what we are doing for Lent...making good choices. We have started a Lenten journal. We are making a special Easter present for mom and dad!
A note was sent out today for what Pre-k will do for Almsgiving. Please participate if you are able. 
We learned about the letter ii and the number 15. We learned about iguanas We drew an iguana for the letter Ii. We read iguana stories. We practiced on our white boards making letters and numbers.
Wednesday was Dr. Seuss Day. We read several Dr. Seuss books, watched a Dr. Seuss movie and made a Dr. Seuss One Fish Two Fish Red Fish Blue Fish craft which is hanging on our bulletin board. We mad green eggs and ham. Some of us really liked them!!
Thursday we celebrated Read Across America Day and had our buddies come over to read stories to us. We made a Fox in Socks craft and read the book.
Show N' Tell is the letter Gg next week. There have not been many children bringing it in. This helps the children with public speaking and they enjoy telling about their item. Please make sure the show n' tell fits in a sandwich baggie.
We set up a Leprechaun trap to try to catch the Leprechaun. Thank you to the parents who already sent things in. The first day we got erasers, the second day we had green grapes for snack and today the Leprechaun left us green slime! His name is WeeWee! He has been leaveing us notes daily!
