Thank you to Aryanna for taking home Everlee the bee this past weekend. Did you know she introduced Everlee to her stuffies and went to Chic-fil-a! What fun!!
We started off the week by attending Mass on Monday. Sister Mary Louise Shulas, MPF who is the of director of Curriculum for the Diocese of Metuchen was in Mass and met up with us. She told us we were well behaved during Mass. We also recited Lovely Lady to her and she loved it! We continue to write in our Lenten Journals. We also learned about the Annunciation of Mary on Tuesday
We learned about the letter Kk which we started on Friday and was introduced to the letter Yy on Wednesday. We learned how to write it, the sound it makes and we found things that began with the letters. We learned about the number 19. We traced, counted and wrote the number 19. Wednesday was all about Donuts with daddy. We started off by giving our dads a tie to wear and we then took a picture. Dads enjoyed coffee and also had powered donuts. The children shared the donuts with their dad along with a juice box. We then gave them a candy jar full of their favorite candy, a special card we made that said Dad Rocks and picked a special rock out just for their dad. We shared a survey of their dad and we drew a portrait of their dads face. Both were lamented for a keepsake for their dad. We also gave our dads a special wooden sign we painted that said Best Dad they can hang up somewhere special. We sang songs and said prayers relating to St. Joseph and our dads. All had such a great time! Thanks to all who came. We learned about hummingbirds and how small and cute they are. We started to practice for Muffins with Mommy which is on May 7@ 8:30 am. Thank you to all who gave to the Lenten baby collection. Next week's collection will be: baby wipes and pacifiers. No school Monday, March 31. God Bless, Mrs. McNulty
