Pre-K enjoyed celebrating “Donuts with Daddy.” We sang different songs and had a wonderful concert. Thank you to all that celebrated with us!
Pre-K4B learned all about parts of a plant. We cut and pasted out parts of the plant and matched it. We also used our gross motor skills to grow like plants during yoga. We reviewed what a plant needs to grow as well.
We celebrated our vowels this week. We learned a vowel song, and worked on our vowel sounds. We used our magnetic letters to see what middle letter was missing from our CVC words and we played letter BINGO. We also formed our vowels with our blocks.
Our new number was nineteen this week. We used our spring bunnies to count to nineteen, and made the number out of playdough. We also worked on sequencing. We had sequencing cards that we put in order after our story, and we put our numbers in order 0-20.
We learned about Jesus’ story of Easter and used our puppets to act it out. We also completed an Easter puzzle about Stations of the Cross.
For Spring, we created a tie dye egg by swirling different paint together and a ripped paper bunny. We used bunny cookie cutters in playdough, and read the “Pete the Cat Easter” book.
A very Happy Birthday to Nicholas who celebrated with pizza with us, thank you!
