Thank you to Catalina for taking home Everlee this past weekend. Did you know she took her to her ballet class and went to her grandmother's house for a visit! What fun!! 

This week we continued to work on our Lenten Journals and some children finished their Star Charts! (which are not due until Easter week). We learned Lent is forty days and Jesus spent 40 days in the desert. We are trying to do more loving things during Lent. Thank you to the parents/children who donated baby items this week for Life Choices. Christian from Life Choices came to speak to us about the center and thanked us for doing this. Next week we will collect baby hats, booties and mittens. Thanking you in advance for your generosity.  We visited our buddies on Wednesday and gave them silver crosses for Lent. We said our Lent prayer for them and they loved the crosses! We also colored a picture for St. Patrick's Day and gave them to the 5th grade.

We learned about the letter Ww by tracing, using our white boards, writing the letter and completing papers. We learned worms began with Ww and we went looking for worms in the dirt! The children loved digging in the dirt.
 We learned about number 17 by counting objects, tracing and also writing number 17. Please reinforce all letters, sounds and numbers we learn in school.
We learned about skunks and how they smell! We read Let's Find Out and watched a video too.
 We have been practicing for Donuts with Daddy. Please RSVP if you are coming or if someone else will be attending in your place. We can't wait to have you all come in to see us.
We have been receiving so many things from the Leprechaun!! I am sure your child has been showing you. He even put green dye in the toilet!!! 
The Permission trip to our class was sent home today. Please ​fill it out and return with a check.
