Stories: A Squiggly Story & One Happy Classroom
Power Words (these are vocabulary words we will read in our stories): idea, offer, stuck

We will continue our chapter on numbers 0-5. This week we will count and write numbers 0-5
+Religion:
Chapter 9: God Made Us
Good God Choices: Lesson 2: You, We & They: How we affect others
+SS/Science:
We started talking about the season of Fall. This week we will explore fall weather and what happens to the leaves.

We will wrap up our lesson on apples and start to talk about the season of fall.

I hope you all had a wonderful summer. I'm looking forward to meeting everyone this school year!
Just a few notes from the Kindergarten welcome letter:
* We will hold our orientation on Tuesday, September 5 in the KA classroom
* Students may dress casual to orientation. Uniforms will begin on the first day of school (September 6).
* You may bring in school supplies and classroom supplies to orientation to be left in KA and help make first day drop off easier.
First week reminders:
* Wednesday and Thursday are early dismissal days.
*Friday is our first full day of school
* Aftercare is available on September 6th and September 8th for those students who need it, but will not be available for Kindergarten on September 7th.
* Please make sure to pack a healthy snack every day!
