Pre-K 4B was very excited to draw portraits of our pet “Goldie.” Goldie was very excited to them. We read all about goldfish and learned how they can breathe underwater. We also discovered how many fish flakes to feed her.
Our Letter of the Week was “M.” We created our own silly monsters out of all different materials and made the letter in the sand. We also created M words out of playdough. We ended our week by making a mouse out of our uppercase “M.”
We learned all about sorting this week. We sorted things by big and small. We even used our Smartboard to measure penguins and see which one was bigger or smaller. We also did a great job working on our fine motor skills by using scissors and sorting by shapes and size.
We explored all about Artic owls this week. We made our own owls, and read all different books on where they live. We also watched a video to see how they move.
Pre-K 4B also had a wonderful learning our new song “Jesus Loves Me,” We used our shakers in the song, and did all the motions so well. We explored about the Creation story, and colored our very own book to share with our families. We even watched a video on it.
Our Student of the Week was Advik. We learned Advik enjoys art and drawing. His favorite color is red!
Francis visited Advik over the weekend. She enjoyed building car tracks with him, and meeting his sister. Thank you for taking such good care of her.
