Pre-K4B enjoyed learning all about the letter “F.” We painted our own frog with a silly tongue and made flowers out of the letter itself. We also did a great job finding things around the room that began with the letter. We also loved listening to “Five Little Speckled Frogs” and reading all about farm animals.
We worked on sorting by size and color. We sorted big and little stars on our Smartboard, and cut out different shapes to sort them. We also found what numbers were missing on our number line. We also reviewed the number 2 and 3 on how to write them!
We learned about gifts God gives and how he gave us different senses. We named all the five senses and did a great job using scissors to cut out picture to match to the sense. We used different scented playdough to explore the sense of smell, and we used different shakers to hear the different sounds they make.
For our Artic Animals, we explored all about the polar bear. We learned that the polar has black skin and made our own polar paintings by using forks. We also did polar bear yoga to help calm our bodies. We also used white playdough to create a habitat for our polar bears.
We also spoke about kindness and began our kindness tree for our classroom. We all shared something nice we can do for our friends, and read about how we can be empathetic toward others in out community.
Thank you to Hannah, who did a wonderful job watching Francis over the weekend. Francis loved her shower and her dance class.
A friendly reminder to please bring in school supplies as soon as possible.
Thank you and God Bless,
