Today for homework- reading pg. 9 and 11. Tomorrow is  a half day and there is a free dress down.

Now that the season of Advent is upon us, the first graders take part in a special Advent project. Each day, students are chosen to decorate our Christmas tree with an ornament. On each ornament, there is an act of kindness for the children to do which is their Advent promise. During this season of Advent, we are preparing for Jesus to come at Christmas and what better way to do it than through doing for others. We also countdown to Christmas using Christmas socks, such a great way to get into the holiday spirit! We are encouraging our litttle ones to do for others and not always think of themselves. This is the way to prepare for Jesus coming at Christmas! 

Hi everyone!
Please be sure that your child knows which line they will be going home on for the first week of school. If your child takes a bus home, please tell them their bus number. This will help with dismissal procedures.
