Our new letter of the week was “M.” We made silly monsters and shared so many “M” words. We also read “Suzy Mule” and did a monster dance too! We also worked on tracing our last names, and counting how many letters we have in our last names. We created a moon with paint for the letter too!
For the number 14, we traced it on our SmartBoard, and put it in our fish ten frames. We learned that 14 is a teen number. We also created out own patterns using our colorful blocks. We also did a matching game for opposites. We began working with scissors as well. We worked on our scissor grip!
We discovered all about inventions. We learned how the toothbrush was created and watched an interview with an interview to learn what goes into creating an invention. At the end of the week, we drew our own inventions and shared them with the class.
Pre-K4B loved to learn about “Jonah and the Whale” We read the Bible story, and colored our own whale picture. We also put together a whale puzzle on our SmartBoard!
Francis had a blast visiting Matthew and his family. Francis played video games and built with legos! Thank you for taking such good care of her!
The Student of the Week was Devyn! We all enjoy Devyn’s energy and wonderful attitude! We learned she loves patterns and school and flamingos. Also, that her favorite color is red.
We would like to wish Sofia a very Happy Birthday on February 13th!
