Pre-K4B had a fun time getting all prepared for Valentine’s Day! We learned a new song and completed our own Valentine’s Day Bear drawing. We drew all the parts ourselves! We also made a love bug and put sticker hearts on it. We even made pink unicorns with a heart crown. We read “The Day It Rained Hearts” and decorated our own hearts and had the hearts rain in our classroom.
Our Letter of the Week was “N.” We built our letter with our blocks, and our geo sticks. We practiced making the “N” sound and found all different words with that sound around our classroom. We even made our very own night sky using an “N”. We also practiced tracing our last names.
We learned a new prayer this week too. We recited our “Glory Be” prayer and practiced the prayer at our Morning Meetings. We also at Morning Meeting chatted about how Jesus our light to shine and how we can let it shine in our classroom! We said we can help friends, listen, and always clean up.
We visited our teen number, 11. We learned a new song about teen numbers and how to put the number in our ten frames. We also made the number out of colorful pom poms and playdough. We also found 11 on our number line.
Pre-K4B also explored mixing colors to see what they make and had a fun song to sing about colors.
We painted footballs to celebrate the Superbowl. We used our lego blocks as stampers to make them!
Francis had a wonderful time with Jessica and her family. She met new friends and loved to read with her. Thank you for taking such good care of her.
