Pre-K did a fantastic job with our letter of the week. We read “Mr. H” and found Hs in our hippos. We made the letter out of our blocks, and playdough too. We also worked on tracing our last names. We created our very own homes and did a great job gluing and following directions.
We began exploring with scissors. We learned a song about how to grip them, and practiced cutting in a line! We also worked on our number 16. We colored in 16 circles, and did our teenage number song. We also put it in our ten frames, and traced it on our Ipads.
We celebrated President’s Day by having a birthday dance party, and created our own books about President Washington and President Lincoln. We also learned about President Washington’s life when he was younger. We watched a video on our Smart Board all about it, and had great listening ears.
Pre-K also learned a new season song, and a season dance during Morning Meeting. We finished our lesson about “Jonah and the Fish” with a sticker book, and watched a puppet show about it. We aslo began to learn our Five Finger Prayer.
Francis visited Maverick and had such a wonderful time. Thank you for taking such good care of her.
The Student of the Week was Archer. We learned that he loves the number 100 and PJ Masks. Also,
he loves to learn about science at school!
*Dr. Seuss'Birthday Celebration will be on Monday, February 28*
Thank you and God Bless!
