Thank you to Leo for taking Everlee home this past weekend. Did you know he built a fort made out of blankets with Everlee and had a heart shaped pizza with her! It sounds like so much fun! 

This week we learned about Holy water. We learned that when we sign ourselves with Holy water it is a reminder of our Baptism. When we are baptized, we become a part of God's family. We went to Mass on Wednesday. The children were so well behaved. Father David came down before Holy Communion to give the children a blessing! It was so special. We also learned about St. Valentine and why we send valentines to each other.

We are learning about the letter Vv by tracing, writing with our white boards, playing games , singing songs from the Smartboard and coloring pictures that begin with Vv. We played a V game on the Smartboard. We also made rainbow Vv's and 15's. We are learning the number 15.  We counted and traced our number 15. We used our white boards to practice number 15. We completed number 15 papers.
If you did not bring in your Baptism picture please send it in next week.
On the 100th day we read 100 day stories, counted to 100, sang a song about the 100th day, walked 100 steps 10 at a time, went on a 100 day parade to show off our costumes. We went to both Kindergartens. We had 100 seconds of silence and wrote our name on a paper with a 100 second timer. We also ate chocolate chip pancakes and Mrs. Meier put 100 mini chips in the batter. We dotted a 100 day paper and also made a gumball machine with 100 pretend gumballs! What a day! The children dressed awesome for the 100th day of school!!!! They were all dressed like they were 100 years old! We got 100 day erasers, 100 day bracelets, 100 day pencils, 100 day stampers and 100 day stickers. We made our own goodie bags.
Next Friday is ​Read Across America. If you ​have a Dr. Seuss shirt or outfit please wear it next week. If not wear a crazy hat or socks!
