Thank you to Noelle for bringing home Tilly. Did you know she decorated her Christmas tree with her!!! Also, Emily was the Student of the Week and wants to become a Doctor when she grows up.
The Christmas show was fantastic. The children were awesome!!! Thank you all for coming to visit us. We learned about the letter Jj for Jesus this week. We traced, sang J songs, practiced on white boards and made a J is for Jesus craft. We had our Christmas book exchange and everyone received a nice Christmas book to take home to read with our families! We reviewed our numbers from 0-10 this week. We also concentrated on the birth of Jesus. This week we lit the third Advent Candle which represents Joy. We learned the story of the Crippled Lamb and how he had such a special place in the Nativity. On Tuesday we made reindeer food and went for a candy cane hunt. On Wednesday we decorated Christmas cookies and made hot chocolate! They were delicious!! Today we had our birthday party for Jesus. We had our special gift for baby Jesus which was our Show n' tell. It was so special and we really know what the true meaning of Christmas is. We went down to the food pantry and gave Miss Bidgy our food we sent in for the Advent collection. Thank you all who gave food for the poor. Mrs. Meier and I want to wish you a very Merry Christmas. We hope you have a Happy and healthy New Year! School begins January 2 for the five day children and January 3 for the three day children. God Bless, Mrs. McNulty
