Pre-K 4B had such a blast celebrating Christmas together. We had an amazing performance for our Christmas Concert, and thank you to all the families for attending. It was wonderful to share all our hard work and talent with you!
We brought in gifts from our heart to celebrate Jesus’ birthday, and the end of the Advent Season. We placed all the presents around our Christmas tree, and shared what they meant to us. We made cards for Jesus and had birthday muffins and hot cocoa. We also sang, “Happy Birthday,”
The visited the manager outside our Cathedral. Everyone loved to see the angel on the top. We also knew who Mary and Joseph were. We also lit our final Advent candle, and did a great job completing all our Advent good deeds.
Our favorite part of the week was our candy cane hunt. We collected candy canes outside, and we even created our own candy cane with tissue paper. We also performed a candy cane experiment to see what would dissolve it quickly. The soda, warm water, and vinegar dissolved the candy canes.
The Christmas Card exchange was so much fun, and we loved receiving and giving out the beautiful cards we shared. Thank you for all the cards! We made friendship ornaments too. We attached a friendship poem and decorated the wreaths so nicely. We used our fine motor skill to stick all the pieces on.
We celebrated to first day of winter by reading about winter activities, and painting snowflake ornaments. We handed out our ornaments to our other classrooms. We even had our fifth grade buddies read Winter stories to us on the first day of winter. We loved seeing their classroom and their beautiful Advent wreath.
Francis had a wonderful weekend of playtime with Jazlyn. Francis met her family and helped to decorate her tree. Thank you for taking such great care of her.
We wish everyone a very Merry Christmas and Happy New Year! Thank you all for your donations and participation in the Christmas season. We had a wonderful time celebrating the season with your family, and we hope everyone as a wonderful Winter Break. School returns on Tuesday January 3, 2023.
God Bless,
Miss Kline & Mrs. A
