December 2-Advent Donation-

*Advent Wreath Sticker Craft

*Please send in one child shoe labeled for St. Nicholas Day which is on December 6th. 

*Please note it is the week of Santa’s Workshop, please check the Pre-K4B blog for the date.

December 4th- 

*Pre-K tree decorating and lighting, we will have hot cocoa and cookies for snack.

*Christmas Tree Name Craft

December 6-

* St. Nicholas Day. Children will put shoes in the hallway and see if St. Nick leaves a treat! 

*Santa Craft

*It is a 12 dismissal.

December 9- Advent Donation

*Feast of the Immaculate Conception (Angel craft) 

December 11-

* Family Tradition Pictures are due. Please place pictures of your family’s holiday traditions in your child’s folder or email them to Miss Kline.

*Christmas PJ Day-Children are asked to wear their favorite Christmas PJs to school and bring in their favorite stuffed animal.

*We will be decorating gingerbread cookies

December 13-

*Snowflake Day, please wear white, blue, or snowflake themed clothing into school. We will be making a snowflake ornament. 

*Please send in large Christmas bag labeled with your child’s name that stands up for your child’s Christmas mailbox.

*Your child may begin bringing in Christmas cards for their friends. There are 15 children in class. Please Do Not put names on envelopes. Have your child sign each card. (This is optional)

December 16- Advent Donation

*Christmas Concert in the Solarium at 9:30am.

*Candy Cane Hunt

*Christmas book exchange books are due. We will have a Christmas book exchange on December 18th. If you choose to participate please purchase a new Christmas book and wrap it up in Christmas wrapping paper. Your child will get to pick a book if they bring one in. (This is optional)

*Picnic in the Snow-Pizza Lunch- Please pack lunch accordingly.

December 18-  

*Christmas card exchange closes and cards go home. 

*We will have a Christmas book exchange. If you choose to participate please purchase a 3ew Christmas book and wrap it up in Christmas wrapping paper. Send it in by December 14. Your child will get to pick a book if they bring one in. (This is optional)

* Birthday party for Jesus, we will be celebrating and having cupcakes for snack.

*Please have your child bring in a wrapped birthday gift for Jesus.This gift cannot be bought it comes from your child’s heart. For example: It can be a prayer for a loved one, your child could sit and talk with a grandparent, a Christmas card your child made for someone,etc.Write them down on a paper so we can read them in class. All of these things make Jesus smile when your child does them. Please really sit with your child and talk about the true meaning of Christmas as we will be teaching this in class.  (Not optional) 

*We will be making reindeer food (not for humans!)

December 20-*Last Day of School before Christmas Break* 12 Dismissal

*Christmas Movie Day with popcorn
