On Tuesday, we worked on our cooking skills. We created nachos after reading “Dragons Love Tacos” and cut and glued out our own tacos.
On Wednesday, we worked together to build our cathedral using different blocks. We also had our Class Trip. We loved learning how to make pizza at Antonio’s and ice cream at What’s the School in Metuchen. We picked our own ice cream flavors and reviewed how to walk across streets that Officer P taught us! Thank you to all the Class Moms who helped out so much!
On Thursday, we explored our artistic side by painting at our easel and creating beautiful watercolor butterflies. We also used paper plates to sponge paint different stripes on and glued crosses in the middle.
On Friday, we celebrated all our families by sharing special memories we had with them. We also drew what our favorite things to do with our families are.
In addition, Pre-K worked hard on gluing bunny ears and decorating their Easter Baskets with colorful egg stickers. We also worked on tracing our alphabet and found missing numbers on our SmartBoard. We also practiced writing our last names.
We continued to work on our Easter prayer, and read about Palm Sunday. We put together our own palms as we read the bible story too.
A very Happy Birthday to Amelia!
