Pre-K had a bunny filled week. We dance the “Bunny Hokey Pokey” and the bunny hop! We created Easter wreaths that we cut out our colorful eggs ourselves. We decorated our own Easter baskets and had so much fun on our Easter Egg hunt outside. We glued all the parts of the bunny onto our baskets. We traced ovals shapes for eggs too! We also showed our sticker creations to the Easter bunny who visited us on Wednesday.
We had a peep experiment too! We saw what would melt a blue peep the fastest. We predicted the hot water would melt it the quickest and we were correct!
We also watched a video on Jesus’ resurrection and colored crosses. We also learned our new Easter prayer. We used colorful dotters to decorate the cross as well, and watched a video on the Last Supper. We also were shown palms for Palm Sunday.
Pre-K did such a great job practicing their last names too and counting by 2’s. We practiced our phonic sounds on our SmartBoard too.
Sofia brought Francis home over the weekend. She had a sleepover with her, and visited the birds at her house.
This week we had such wonderful Mystery Readers. Mrs. Petrakakos read the “Little Engine that Could” and Mrs. Kim read one of our favorites “Dragons Love Tacos.” Mrs. Conte read “The Good Egg” that made us all crack up. Thank you so much for sharing your time and reading to us!
Have a very Happy Easter with your family! The school will be closed from April 18-22 for Spring Break, please have a wonderful and fun break!
Thank you & God Bless!
